The excellent line of Melkbus raw milk Gouda cheeses (called Boerenkaas, or ‘farmer cheese’), is made by small dairy farmers around the Netherlands for cheese giant Uniekaas. Each style of Melkbus cheese is numbered, with the number corresponding to the farm that produces it.
Melkbus 149 is a buttery, unpasteurized Gouda imbued with the amazing flavor of Italian black truffles.According to Culture Cheese Mag, the truffles are generously added to the curd before the cheese is pressed into the mold and shaped. Ten weeks of aging results in a cheese that is semi-firm, sweet, young and mild, yet intensely permeated with the flavor of the truffles.

During checkout, please note if you cannot receive text messages, and we can call instead.
Orders will be fulfilled during hours of operation. If orders are placed after hours or within an hour of closing, your order will be ready the next day we are open. Please give us a date in the notes if you need it even later than that.

When you arrive at the store, text us at 231-740-8009 with your name, and the color and make of your vehicle. This is for curbside only.
4. We’ll Bring It Out Or You Can Come In To Get It
After you let us know you’re here, we’ll bring your purchase out to your vehicle! Please note, we may be helping other customers at the time of your arrival, so please give us a little time to bring your order out.
